A Salon is a gathering of persons of like interests, be they intellectual, social, political or cultural, under the roof of an inspiring hostess or host, to refine their taste and increase their knowledge through conversation. Salons began in Europe with the French literary and philosophical Salons of the 17th and 18th centuries. In Paris, they were often hosted by women of notorious reputation. Salons are still carried on in urban settings throughout Europe and the U.S. In the early 20th century, the Salon concept was widely used for meetings with psychics and mediums. The Spiritualist Séance was a classic example of the Psychic Salon. Modern Psychics and Mediums of international reputation often use the Salon format to provide a relaxed atmosphere with a more intimate feel for some of their public meetings.
In the warm and intimate setting of The Bead Angel, this evening will begin with Carolyn channeling or teaching on a specific subject (see below for dates and topics). Following that, Carolyn will take questions about ANY SUBJECT OR CONCERN. Participants are encouraged to interact fully, engaging in active conversation with Carolyn and with each other. Questions which relate to the metaphysical or spiritual aspects of any political, social, intellectual orpersonal condition or concern are especially encouraged.
Are you curious about past life connections with friends or family? Are there habits or patterns in your life that you can’t figure out how to break? Do you have fears or apprehensions that you can’t explain? Carolyn may answer these with Past Life Readings, and/or may connect you with your inner guidance or a loved one from the other side.
As an integral part of the evening, 8 to 10 attendees may expect to receive a personal mini-reading which will be offered in the context of the group setting. Bring your questions, open heart & open mind.
EXPERIENCE OUR NEW PSYCHIC SALON FORMAT! Each month, Carolyn will teach & channel information on a specific theme. Attendees will gain spiritual insight into a variety of topics and useful information to support them in their spiritual journey. After a 45-minute presentation, the forum will open for 30 to 45 minutes of Q & A around the evening’s topic or any other subject. After a short break, Carolyn will then conduct mini-readings & each attendee will get a mini-version of a psychic, past life or medium reading.
TOPIC FOR APRIL: Shedding the Old for a Spiritual Rebirth -
As Spring breaks in its cyclical birthing of new life after the transitions of Fall (dying) and Winter (dormant), so must we slough off old energy in the form of the past - stories, drama, wounds, etc. Learn how to "spring" into rebirth with Mother Nature in your spiritual journey.

Carolyn Ferber is a Spiritual Teacher, Psychic, Medium, Healing Touch & Energetic Practitioner. Carolyn has mentored under Deb Sheppard, a renowned Spiritual Teacher, Psychic and Medium, for the last four years, and is currently a student of Linda Howe, the leading expert in the dynamic field of Akashic Studies. She has performed hands-on Energy Work for years, and is currently working towards Full Certification with Healing Touch International.

Healing Energy work uses a collection of energy-based treatment techniques based in the model of 'Healing Touch' that consciously utilize light or near-body touch over energy centers (chakras) and energy fields (auras) to clear, balance and energize the human energy system. As a complement to (NOT a substitute for) traditional approaches to health and healing, Healing Touch restores harmony and balance to the energy system to facilitate physical, mental, emotional and spiritual healing in a heart-centered and intentional manner. Anecdotal and research evidence supports the use of Healing Touch in facilitation of wound healing, pain reduction, anxiety, tension and stress relief, spiritual development, pre- and post-op recovery and healing of surgeries and medical procedures, cancer supportive care and support for the terminally ill and their caregivers.

Science Of Mind Study Group -- Meets every 1st and 3rd Wednesday evening at The Bead Angel at 7pm. This class is conducted in 'semesters' of 10 sessions each; attendees must commit to a complete session.
