This first class will be longer than average.  Most classes will run 2 to 4 hours.  Most classes will be on Sundays (exact dates yet to be announced) although the occasional Thursday or Friday evening may also be necessary.

In Wicca, it is traditional to study for a "Year and a Day" before becoming initiated into the Craft, and this is often the time required before advancing to the next degree.  This period of time allows the dedicant to learn and grow in knowledge as well as practice....and to become spiritually mature enough to make an informed decision about whether or not to continue this particular Path.

This year-long series of monthly classes and meetings is designed for those who seek eventual initiation into a Wiccan coven....or to strongly enhance their knowledge for solitary practice.  Dedicants will increase their knowledge of the history of Wicca and of Wiccan beliefs and practices....and, most especially, further their spiritual development. Homework assignments are regular and required elements for successful completion of the Year and a Day program.

Be advised: This traditional path requires a serious commitment. However, those who are serious about walking a Wiccan path will be fully prepared to become comfortable, knowledgeable, and contributing members of a coven; or to begin their solitary practice.
